Igniting Faith in our Adult Sunday School classes involves learning God's Word in fellowship. We do our part to Change Lives through mission projects in the community. Our classes begin at 9:45 and 11:00 on Sundays. There is also a Thursday evening class. All our classes welcome visitors!

MAKING SENSE OF IT ALL

This new class of mid-life couples and singles is using the BibleSense curriculum to study the letters of Paul in an effort to bring biblical sense to today’s questions.

SINGLE SHEPHERDS
Church Library
The Single Shepherds Sunday School Class is made up of Singles who are 40 years of age and older. Our lessons are Biblically based with emphasis on life applications. Although led by a teacher, we strongly encourage participation by the class members through round table discussions. As shepherds we will endeavor to reach out, love and protect each other and those outside of our flock. In doing this, we will strive to mirror the only true Good Shepherd our Lord Jesus Christ.

FRIENDS IN FAITH
Room 201
This class is made up of couples and singles typically with children ranging in age from 7 to college. The class is discussion-based, seeking to apply God's Word to modern life through a balanced study of the Bible, contemporary issues, and great Christian writers.

SMITH-FRIENDSHIP CLASS

This class participates in Biblical study using the UMC curriculum based on the International Lesson Series. You are invited to join this active class of senior adults.

THE SEEKERS
Room 210
A class of single and married adults in their mid-30’s and up exploring aspects of Christianity and putting it into practice. Class members volunteer to present the topic and facilitate group discussion.

THE PATHFINDERS
Room 302
This class is seeking a path that can be found in the Scriptures. They have a short fellowship time, prayer time, and a lesson based on God’s Word, that is a combination of lecture and discussion. They are striving to learn how to embrace life not just idle through it.

ASPIRING FOLLOWERS
Room 205
The objective of this group of mid-life married and single adults is to learn God’s Word through the study of the Cokesbury International Lesson Series of Adult Bible Studies. It explores Biblical messages and their application to life through reflection on personal, family, church, and community concerns. Volunteers facilitate stimulating discussion of lessons and readings each week.

WOMEN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS

Married and single women make up this group seeking spiritual growth through Bible study, personal application and group encouragement. Class format is open discussion facilitated by members of the group.

CROSSTRAINING

This class consists of couples in their 30’s, with and without children. Relaxed group discussion format is used to study the Bible, Christian living and other religious topics. Class facilitation rotates on a monthly basis among class members. All are invited to join this dynamic group for lively discussion and fun fellowship.
